Stavropol, Russia – MaxNick today is pleased to announce the release of Box Battle 1.0.1, a meticulously constructed, physics based puzzle game for the iPhone and iPad. Operating an advanced, steam-powered artillery cannon, players apply a mix of cunning, precision shooting, and brute force to blast their way through 130 industrially themed puzzles. Each copper-piped level offers unique fortification types and challenging tasks.

Set 40 years into the the the Quark-Tulan war, players start out as elite cannoneers tasked with destroying the resources stored in the elaborate Tulan barricades. Players drag and orient the cannon’s breach mechanism to control the pitch and velocity of their shots. As they progress, they unlock 10 types of ammunition, with the more destructive and extravagant shell types costing more points. Players must strategically choose from their arsenal to smash, blast, freeze and bounce their way to victory.

Like a Victorian Age clock, Box Battle includes many small, interlocking parts that improve dramatically on the standard progression of level based puzzlers. There are numerous military ranks from Common Recruit to First Cannoneer of the Empire. Medals are awarded each level, and optional tasks let players dynamically adjust the game-play difficulty to match their play style. Completing tasks provides score multipliers that help speed players through the ranks that contribute to each players rating on global leaderboards.

The Dimension case incorporates several designs elements to allow users to interact with the iPad in the way they want to. From the outset, it looks like a slim and well-crafted jacket for the iPad. The iPad is protected in a frame case at the right side of the jacket. The frame case has openings for all the access points of the iPad. Users can interact with iPad in this jacket setting. However, if users want to be able to carry their protected iPad device around, they can easily separate the frame case from its base cover.

When the user is tired of holding the iPad in its framed case, the user can easily and securely attach the frame case to its base cover. If stand viewing is desirable, the case can be converted into a viewing stand once the frame case is attached back to its base cover. The viewing stand can be adjusted to several angles so that the most comfortable viewing position can be attained. If one prefers portrait viewing, the frame case can be attached in portrait orientation for such viewing. Similarly, if one prefers landscape viewing, the case can be attached in landscape orientation for viewing. Again, both portrait and landscape viewing can be adjusted to several viewing angles depending on which one the user most prefers.

The Dimension product line has several variations. The variations differ on how the attaching mechanism is implemented. The first introduction is called the Dimension Case V Series. The V series use industry strength Velcro band as the attaching mechanism. The selected Velcro band has been rigorously tested and provides the optimized hook-and-loop combination for attaching and separating the frame case from base cover. In the near future, other series with different attaching mechanism will be introduced.
