Concealed Handgun License State Reciprocity List 1.6 For iPhone

Stinnett, Texas – Announcing that Blackleaf Software LLC, the developer of Concealed Handgun License State Reciprocity List, has released the latest update for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. Until now, travelers with concealed handgun permits have had to do hours, if not days, of tedious research to learn which states recognize their concealed carry licenses; but Concealed Handgun License State Reciprocity List 1.6 puts reciprocity information for all 50 states right at their finger tips. Information is quickly accessible and users can save time and stay on the good side of the law by knowing exactly where they can carry, before they even leave home.

These are some of the features that make this a must have app for handgun owners:
* The latest state reciprocity changes as of June, 2010 for all 50 states
* Easy to use onscreen controls
* Easy to read, color coded maps
* Reverse reciprocity look up
* Internet buttons to learn about handgun laws within each state
* Read the second amendment right in the app
* Supports portrait and landscape modes

When they open the app, the user simply picks their home state from a list by tapping the screen. The next thing they will see is a complete list of states that recognize concealed handgun licenses issued by their state (reciprocity).

New for this version is the Reverse Reciprocity feature. This button allows users to quickly see a list of states whose concealed handgun permits are recognized by the state they are currently viewing.

While viewing a list, simple onscreen buttons allow the user to see these states on a color coded map, or learn more about a particular state. Portrait and landscape views are supported, to make map viewing easier.

It’s a gun owner’s responsibility to know the laws of any state where they intend to carry their gun. To make this easier, Concealed Handgun License State Reciprocity List 1.6 now gives users a “Website” button which takes them directly to a state’s website, where they can learn everything they need to know without leaving the app. With the second amendment to the US constitution contained right in the app, interested users can also learn more about their constitutional right to bear arms.

When asked why he thought there was a need for an app like this in the app store, Dustin Irvin had this to say: “After taking a concealed handgun course my family and I had trouble gathering a list of states and their laws. We travel frequently so this app was exactly what we needed to quickly reference our ability to carry our handguns in states. Then, if we had any questions about specific laws, we could access the website directly within the app to go over specifics of concealed carry with that state.”

The developer points out to responsible handgun owners that state reciprocity lists can sometimes change between app updates. It’s their responsibility to carefully check all information so they can carry safely, carry legally, and know where they can go.

Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPod touch and iPad
* Requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later
* 2.7 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Concealed Handgun License State Reciprocity List 1.6 is only $0.99 (USD) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Reference category. Promo codes are available for qualified reviewers. Please specify the website or blog you represent when making your request.

Ian Miller releases Salesdiver 1.0 for iPad – Win More Business

Portland Oregon – Independent developer Ian Miller today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of Salesdiver 1.0 for Apple’s revolutionary iPad device. Salesdiver is an app that helps sales people close more business by gaining a broader understanding of their sales opportunities. It does this by prompting them during their sales calls to ask the right questions to qualify their opportunities thoroughly – and therefore allows them to focus on the deals they can win.

The iPad changes the game in many ways. For sales people, it is the first product that allows them to conduct a face to face conversation with a sales prospect without the technology getting in the way. All other technologies demand too much attention or are physically too distracting. The iPad on the other hand can be held like a pad of paper and can be operated by simply touching it. Salesdiver takes full advantage of these capabilities.

As the sales meeting progresses, Salesdiver prompts the sales person to ask questions on different areas of the opportunity at hand. These include areas such as the budget, timescale, competition and other qualification categories. As the sales person unearths the status of each of these, he or she can take notes in Salesdiver to follow up on next steps.

Salesdiver allows these questions to be tailored for each user, company or line of business to ensure the questions are relevant and focused. After the sales call, the sales person can email their sales manager or other team members with an update on the opportunity. Salesdiver takes full advantage of the exciting capabilities of the iPad and takes the concept of a productivity app fully into the sales arena.

Device Requirements:
* Compatible with iPad
* Requires iPhone OS 3.2 or later
* 1.6 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Salesdiver 1.0 is $9.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Productivity category.

Teach Me Sushi named iPhone App Store’s App of the Week in the U.K.

New York, New York – Teach Me Sushi, known for providing fun and hands-on sushi making lessons throughout the New York area, today announced that its iPhone application has been named “App of the Week” in the U.K. iPhone App Store. The achievement follows the accolades the app has already received in the U.S., having earned positions on the App Store’s “New and Noteworthy” and “What’s Hot” lists. Users all over the world have become fans of the new application due to its comprehensive instructions and easy-to-follow videos that make it simple to create sushi at home.

The Teach Me Sushi app takes the intimidating art of creating sushi and makes it a fun experience that users can enjoy on their own or with their friends and family. Covering a wide assortment of dishes, the app provides thirteen instructional videos ranging from beginner to advanced level. Each demonstration lasts no more than five minutes and is accompanied with a coordinating step-by-step visual guide. Clear instructions detailing how to make rice and select fish are also included, along with a timer, equipment list and shopping tool that helps users locate their nearest Japanese markets to gather all the necessary ingredients.

The application was created by Drew Lavyne of the filmmaking company Six Minute Stories and trained sushi chef Jake Davidow, creator and founder of Teach Me Sushi. “I have been completely humbled by the response – I never thought it would take off like this,” said Davidow. “I get at least 10 emails a day from people in all parts of the world telling me how much they love the app. It’s an uplifting feeling to know so many people find value in what we’ve been able to put together.”

Davidow was inspired to begin offering sushi-making courses in 2007 while living in London. After seeing how stiff and formal most sushi-making schools were, he felt there was a need for classes that truly captured the fun and enjoyment that come from making sushi. Davidow’s hands-on Teach Me Sushi courses enabled his students to learn where they were most comfortable- their own kitchens. The approach soon caught on and the business took off, attracting interest from locals, corporations and London personalities.

“It seems so fitting that Teach Me Sushi is the app of the week in the UK – the place where it all began,” Davidow said. “The enthusiasm that I received from the community when I first started offering lessons still encourages my instruction today.”

Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad
* Requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later
* 351 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Teach Me Sushi 1.0 is normally priced at $6.99. In celebration of its launch, throughout the month of July Teach Me Sushi is being offered at a special promotional rate of $4.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Lifestyle category.

GiftCard Trader 1.0 – New App for iPhone Helps Consumers Save Money

Melbourne, Australia – Announcing Darren Holley, the developer of GiftCard Trader, is introducing a new product in the AppStore for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. This is a brand new app, freshly launched and created to solve the problem of dealing with unwanted gift cards. With GiftCard Trader, consumers are able to sell cards or buy them at a discount, using the listing form or easy, multi-option search feature.

“We read a newspaper article stating that Retailers report over 20% of all Gift Cards or Vouchers never get redeemed,” says developer, Darren Holley. “We thought, wouldn’t it be great if there were an App that showed all the people nearby who were selling their unwanted Gift Cards.”

That idea lead Holley to create and launch GiftCard Trader, an app that helps consumers save money as they sell their gift cards or let the iPhone’s built-in GPS find cards for sale at discounted prices within the user’s specified area range. As people sell for less than the card’s value, it’s typically pretty easy to find something of value for a comparatively low price. When a user finds a card they are interested in, they merely contact the seller and arrange for pick up. The app has an interface that’s easy to navigate and users will find it simple and fast to list or search for gift cards. It costs nothing to fully use the service, once the application is downloaded.

Features found in GiftCard Trader:
* Quick and easy
* Device’s built-in GPS tracks and locates nearby Gift Cards
* Convenient form to help list cards for sale
* Multi-search options for finding the cards to buy
* Contact the seller via the app
* It doesn’t cost a cent to use the service after downloading the app
* Saves money on gift cards for favorite stores or products

Device Requirements:
* iPhone and iPod touch, iPad
* Requires iPhone OS 3.1.3 or later
* 1.0 MB

Pricing and Availability:
GiftCard Trader 1.0 is only $4.99 (USD) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Lifestyle category. Promo codes are available for qualified reviewers. The GiftCard Trader App for iPhone and iPod touch was an idea had by a couple of blokes from Australia and was built by a dude in America. Money Tracker 1.0 for iPhone – Easy Accounting Anyone Can Use

Falkirk, Scotland, UK – Announcing BrindySoft, the developer of Money Tracker, has released a brand new product for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. The app is a new launch and an example of simplicity at its best, offering a no-brainer, no frills tool for users to track their discretionary spending. It’s perfect for anyone wanting to rein in expenses but not worry about using complicated financial programs to do so.

As one user who left a review on the Money Tracker page of iTunes said, “Finally there is an app that a fast food delivery dude can use.” Surely, johnjing2 meant no disrespect for delivery people, he was merely trying to point out that anyone can take full advantage of Money Tracker whether they know the first thing about accounting or not.

Money Tracker is the epitome of simplicity. It is a bare bones application with an almost non-existent footprint that helps users keep track of their expenses and disposable income. Users just enter the amount they have to spend and enter an expense when they get one. The app calculates the transaction and keeps tabs on the running balance in the user’s local currency.

There isn’t a lot more to say about this app that is impressive because of its very lack of wanting to impress. It just wants to do the job and that it does, very quickly, easily, accurately and without flash or expectation of fanfare.

Simple, reliable Money Tracker comes with a full set of features:
* Super easy to use, no bookkeeping or accounting knowledge necessary
* Simplicity at its best
* Efficient adding of expenses and credits
* The app has an extremely small footprint, so it won’t hog space on an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad
* It’s portable, so users can make entries as they happen
* Custom currency input that supports localization (i.e. whatever currency a device uses)
* Perfect for students or those on a restricted budget

Device Requirements:
* iPhone and iPod touch, iPad
* Requires iPhone OS 3.1.3 or later
* 0.1 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Money Tracker 1.0 is only $0.99 (USD) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Finance category. Promo codes are available for qualified reviewers. Please specify the website or blog you represent when making your request.
